Testing Principle
The dye Eosin G or Y is mainly used in combination with the dye Haematoxylin and is employed for the differential staining of connective tissue and cytoplasm. The negatively charged anionic dye Eosin binds to the positively charged cytoplasmic proteins, forming a bright red-pink complex.
